We were tasked with creating a luxurious apartment complex in the heart of Riyadh, the bustling capital city of Saudi Arabia. Our design brief was to create a series of sought after and uniquely built apartments that will appeal to families and professionals that are thinking of moving to the affluent business district.

The brief

The main requirement for the brief was to create a contemporary complex, with a unique and inviting facade.

How we approached the design

We first approached the Rakaia apartment block design with our architects and technical team, who put together drawings and a mood board inspired by the client’s brief to get a better understanding of what the structure and facade of the building was actually going to look like once completed.

We knew that the client wanted an extremely contemporary complex with a unique and inviting facade to make it stand out. Alongside the modern exterior, the client also wanted a homely interior to appeal to families and professionals, which is something we worked with our talented interior design team to achieve.

The outcome

The outcome was exactly as we imagined. The unique facade is complete with unique architectural details in the form of a round arch, while the interiors are filled with modern amenities and neutral colourways that are both warm and inviting.
